M1102 Project Budget Expo Trailer

Spent the weekend working on some things for the upcoming event.  Most of which was my expo trailer.  It is a 2002 M1102 I picked up on craigslist.  First off I had some issues with my roof top tent that needed sorting.  The floor on the overhang side had come assembled wrong.  So after some drilling of rivets and cursing I got that all squared away.  The rack was built by our friends at  Mobtown Offroad.  I had them use Uni Strut because I like the idea of having unlimited tie downs all along the rack and it was cheap.  We built it high enough I can toss my kayaks underneath but still have the entire bed open for storage and I may drop it down a bit after using it.  But so far it is coming together nicely.  I'm not a tall guy and climbing all around my truck trying to stuff it back in the tent was no fun and neither was packing up every time I wanted to move.  This is easy to setup because can be done inside the trailer where everything is in reach. It is also nice  as a base camp for wheeling or exploring. Just set it up and leave it for the weekend. My only complaint is its a bit heavy even though its aluminum.  Now to get her out and make some fishing trips.
